UPSET West Effort to Stop Addiction - Addiction Series Episode 12

September 6, 2020 | By Michael H. Babcock

It’s amazing what can happen when a community comes together for a noble cause. That’s precisely what happened with the formation of UPSET West, which was formed in 2016 to increase the level of narcotics enforcement in the western Upper Peninsula. In episode 12 we’ll hear from the foundation’s executive director Kevin Store and Houghton Chief of Police John Donnelly about UPSET West.

You can watch the video above, or listen to the audio version below.

Looking Ahead

Thanks to all of those who have helped make UPSET West a possibility and success since its formation in 2016.

Our next episode will be the final one. In that we’ll dive into the efforts of Portage Health Foundation to combat addiction in our community.
