Portage Health Foundation delivers nearly $600,000 to non-profits

On Monday, December 21, Portage Health Foundation (PHF) visited 18 non-profit organizations from throughout the four-county community to deliver nearly $600,000 in checks. The money came from almost $400,000 in community donations and a $200,000 match by Portage Health Foundation.
This year there were two checks for more than $100,000, including the largest one, $131,965 for Omega House. This year's final tally was $594,514.28. In total through four years this campaign has helped Copper Country non-profits raise $1,267,381.88.
